Cobra Safety
Always Safe

There are a number of safety features in the car. In the cabin, you'll first notice 4-point quick release seatbelts. I've been in a number of cobras with the traditional hook/eye catch seatbelt, and boy are these quick release ones much nicer. Also in the cabin is a chromed fire extinguisher at the foot of the passenger seat. This is good when you come across a lesser quality cobra that is on fire ;) The rollbar being extra heavy duty and double wide is a huge safety point. The steering column is also collapsable, another very nice feature...don't want to be speared in an accident. Lastly in the cabin, you'll notice oversized and tinted visors...much nicer at keeping the sun at bay.

On the outside of the car, a small safety feature is that all the tires are of the same size. This improves handling - more control, safer you are. There is also a traction control system in place that can help maintain control of the car under severe situations, and also help you learn the limits of the car...an electronic teacher if you will. The engine has dual fans to help keep it cool.

The headlights are tri-bar halogen to light up the road, and the body is constructed of the same material as aircrafts...super strong, a vinyl ester ceramic composite - more durable than regular fiberglass.

My favorite safety feature...it's an all-car safety point. This is a custom car, built from scratch, not from a kit. Everything was built with today's standards and today's technology and functionality. This car may look classic / old, but it is a 100% street legal new car in every aspect, utilizing modern technology...a much safer car.
