This system is so good that it was banned at Indy because it gave the drivers such an advantage. The unit I have is mounted right inside the MSD ignition. It has sensors at each tire which feed directly into the ignition. The system then knocks down the horsepower momentarily, giving the tires a chance to catch, and viola - no slip. No slip means faster times and a safer ride.
There are two switches on the dash, one for calibration and one for enabling. For more information, you can visit the website More Traction. The system works very fast, catching the wheel spin within two inches of starting, before regulating the horsepower to bring the wheel(s) back under control.
It's a very cool system, and one that could potentially save your life someday ...AND/OR... put a big smile on your face as you smoke somebody who lost precious time losing traction.
